My name is Tze (pronounced "zee"). Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia, I grew up in a multi-langual and multi-cultural city, in a
large, loving family of 7. When I was 18, I had the opportunity to
study abroad, so I left to the United Kingdom, without knowing much
about the country or seeing it before. I currently live in Munich,
Germany. My varied life and cultural experiences have truly shaped
my philosophy.
I'm passionate about learning and using technology to create
positive societal impact. In the
last decade of my career, I
have been fortunate to work in some of the biggest technology
companies in the world (BlackRock, Palantir Technologies, and now
Google). This showed me the impact technology truly has in the real
world, and enabled me to learn from some of the greatest minds.
As someone who struggled in Mathematics in my younger years, moving
to London and studying Mathematics and Economics at the London
School of Economics was not what I expected myself to be doing.
Undoubtedly, life in Mathematics and London broadened my perspective
and further reinforeced my belief - learning is a continuous
journey. This is why I'm
always learning.
All my life, I have been blessed with patient, generous and kind
friends, family and mentors, whose wisdom and support have shaped me
into who I am today. This is why I've been a pro bono mentor with
every opportunity I get. Whether you need a sounding board or a
proactive hands-on mentor, I'm here for you. Consider signing up for
my
pro bono mentoring service. It's completely free and donation based!
